About the Recipe
Herbal infusions have been used for many years to deliver herbal medicines for many different medical conditions and illnesses. They are easy for patients to prepare in caring relaxing moments throughout their day. This blend of herbal medicines is used for women who are peri-menopausal or menopausal and suffering from increased hot flushes.
Hot flushes, disturbed sleep patterns, depression, anxiety, lack of motivation, irritability, poor memory are all symptoms which women can suffer as they journey through the peri-menopausal and menopausal years. Combating these symptoms so woman can fulfil their full potential throughout these years can be tricky, as each women is unique in their journey. Drunk as an infusion, I have found that when it comes to hot flushes, sage works better than sage tincture in some.
Sage, combined with rose, Siberian ginseng, St John’s Wort and Jasmine buds, creates an infusion which may reduce hot flushes due to sage’s oestrogen like effect, support the nervous system, balance serotonin, support the adrenal glands, and promote sleep.
