Nature's First Aid
The wisdom in simple remedies

Nature is really a great first when it comes to first aid, a magical gift that is astounding.
Often, we can be away from medical resources in nature, hiking, bush walking “off the grid”, all those inspiring places where we seek to roam. In nature we are blessed with negative ions, bush essences, flowing water and sunshine uplifting our spirit and soul.
Things that can be plucked from nature for first aid issues are:
For a bleeding wound: find some clean spider’s web - a styptic high in vitamin K2 which helps stop bleeding.
For a dirty puncture wound, for example from a soiled, rusty nail or animal bite: after cleaning use a castor oil pad for 24hrs plus the homeopathic Ledum for any type of puncture wound. These may prevent sepsis or tetanus.
For the eyes, where any foreign body has gathered ie metal or glass: use a castor oil pad over the affected eye for 24hrs and the next morning the foreign body will be on the pad! This can help prevent any damage to the cornea. Castor oil is such a wonderful lubricant and purger with so many uses.
The tips above were given to us in our training with Dorothy Hall. We are so blessed to have studied with her.
The glory of garlic
While having a dental implant, I was prescribed two antibiotics by the dental surgeon. Garlic can penetrate bone. Antibiotics are nowhere near as effective when it comes to bone. So, knowing this, I dosed myself with garlic three times daily, combined with vitamin C, Kakadu plum, and homeopathic arnica. You could also use rosehips tea which is high in vitamin C. One week later, the dental surgeon was amazed saying he “had never seen such quick healing after inserting a post!”
A garlic clove inserted in the ear for an infected ear works so well. In the inner ear there are 3 bones, so again garlic’s healing powers are a gift, to help stop infection.
Garlic socks are great for any respiratory infection. Place small pieces of garlic on the soles of your feet, seal with glad wrap or bees wax wrap, then put on woollen socks. This helps power the recovery.

May all Beings Be joyful
May all Beings Be Free “
Such a delight to share some of the bountiful gifts of Mother Nature.
